saturating every hum of the vast stillness
even as a blazing burst of light scattered the heavens.
Infant earth was hurled into orbit
and came to rest in lazy circles around the sun.

proximity to a congress of angels,

coveted by the smitten moon,

and encircled by the stars,

it was chosen for you.

we are hushed.

A soft voice reminds us.
