Morton Arboretum - Art & Wine Walk

One of my very favorite art fairs, I have participated in this event since its first year. The tents are situated around the beautiful Meadow Lake walking path, which is paved and easily accessed not far from the Visitors Center. Wine is available for purchase, and all the art is juried and of excellent quality.

Members pay nothing to attend this event. Non-members pay just the normal entry fee. The setting is relaxing and nature’s beauty never disappoints. If you choose one art fair all season, make it this one.

Timed-entry passes are required. In order to expedite the entry experience, all guests must obtain timed-entry passes online prior to arrival at the Arboretum. More information can be found at https://mortonarb.org/visit-the-arboretum/.

"Archeological Imagination" Exhibit at the Bloomingdale Museum

Collage artists are the archaeologists of our time. They are the collectors of today's discarded items: old newspapers and magazines, crumbling sheet music, torn book pages, rusty metal, scrapped pottery, castaway coins, abandoned jewelry and more. In their upcoming exhibit, members of the Midwest Collage Society have harnessed their imaginations to create collaged works of art using this found detritus.

Museum Hours: Wednesday, 5-8PM; Thursday, 12-4PM; Saturday, 12-4PM

Dorothy Bury Shaw will have one original work on display in this fine art exhibit.
